Are people in oakland and/or san jose rooting for the sf giants right now?

I am seeing more Giants hats and shirts walking around the South Bay area than I ever have. Maybe bandwaggoners, but whatever. They are there. There isn't as big of tension between the Giants and A's as there is between the Raiders and Niners. Many fans of one team would root for the other. I know that if the A's were in this spot, I would definitely root for them to win.
