Could an advanced race ever build spaceship the size of a Solar system or perhaps a galaxy?

I was curiously thinking this..if there could be beings a 1,000...-100,000 or even millions of years a head of us... do you think the the possibility of them building such an advanced space structure so Hugh that it would dwarf some solar systems or galaxies??
