Do You Think DECKERS CO. Is Making Uggs Cheaper?

I know real Uggs are made in Australia, but DECKERS CO. which makes UGG AUSTRALIA boots was having them"made in China" but my girlfriend got a new pair from Lord & Taylor at the Galleria Mall and on the box and the boot tags it now says "made in Taiwain". Do you think Uggs are being made cheaper? Now it seems more then ever if you love UGG boots you'd really want the real ones that are made in AUSTRALIA, Wouldn't you?
