Hard to explain... Read question.. but I'm 13 and I need some money because I'm buying a gaming computer..cont

Well.. I didn't have enough space in the question to but this but I was wondering something... I'm 13, and I really really really want to get a gaming computer by December. All I need is maybe 200-800 dollars doesn't really matter as long as it helps. The only problem is... well I'm 13 that's a problem (I think). My mom keeps telling me no employers will hire me but I still can't believe that. I live right near a Costco, EB Games, Best Buy, and Futureshop, which are the places of interest in which I would like to possible have a job. But I don't know if it is going to happen. Anyone know anthing about it? Or something else I can do (besides a paper route, too much work for too little money.) By the way, I live in Canada.
