Has anyone found out the true colors of someone they have known?

I knew this election was going to bring out the bad side of people, but man I did not think it was going to be full of this much hatred. We are starting to see people for who they really are. People of different races who have been friends a long time are starting to see who their friends truly are. That shows you that racism in this country never slowed down only hid itself at times. This election has not brought change just more hate and revealed more truth about people. As an American this is saddening because everyone has their opinion of how Obama became president. Whatever the reason, he did it. He is our 44th President. We may not have to love or like it but at least for our country we can respect it. This is why other countries laugh at us. We don't even have the back of the man that runs our country. I mean I was not a big Bush fan, but their was not this much hatred displayed when he won and I know PLENTY of people that did not like him. I still respected the fact that he was the President of the United States. My country, my home.
